Growing up in New York and Miami with his Cuban heritage, Michael is a very gifted and versatile young guitarists on the music horizon! His styles include, melodic jazz, fiery flamenco, and passionate Latin jazz chops, funk, blues, and rock. His technique and style encompass everything from melodic jazz phrasing, fiery flamenco, passionate Latin chops, greasy funk grooves, all the while possessing an innate ability to speak, sing, and even cry as he communicates deeply to the listener.

 Michael's main artist residence has been with six time Grammy nominated saxophonist Kirk Whalum. He has also performed or recorded with a range of artists, including: Rick Braun, Boney James, India Arie, Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child), KC & JoJo, The Temptations, Take 6, Yolanda Adams, Amy Grant, Ce Ce Winans, India Arie, Pat Boone, KC & JoJo, The Temptations, Mary J.
