Brian Ulrich was born in Rochester, NY where his love for
music was formed and remains with him today. Brian studied music
performance at the Houchstein School of Music, and jazz theory under
Chuck Mangione at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester.
As a doubler on saxophone, clarinet and
flute, Brian toured Europe with the American Symphony and Chorus and has
performed with Chuck Mangione, The Eddie Love Big Band, The Statesman,
The Rochester Philharmonic, The Gainesville Symphony, The KBS Trio, High
Society, Sentimental Journey, The Victory Jazz Orchestra, The
Modernaires and numerous show orchestras.
Brian is the premier artist at the Renaissance Pineisle Resort on Lake
Lanier Islands, Georgia. He was honored as the first time featured music
artist at the renowned Kayne Gallery’s Exhibition held at Club 755 in
Atlanta. Brian has performed on TV 18 for their New Year’s Eve special
and for their Blue Sky Concert series, as well as appearing on the Good
Morning Gainesville show. He is a regularly featured guest on WATC TV’s
Atlanta Live show and has performed on Atlanta radio.
Brian works extensively in the greater Metropolitan Atlanta area with
local schools. As a Woodwind Specialist, he performs Master Clinics and
conducts sectional rehearsals, gives group and private lessons, and
works with area bands. Understanding the importance of a sound musical
foundation, Brian has completed his new book Essential Fundamentals of
Music.
With a strong commitment to community, Brian performs many hours at area
nursing homes and churches, as well as performs for charity
fund-raisers.
Brian resides on Lake Lanier, Georgia with his wife and son and has
recently released his new CD project, "Journey of Dreams". Brian is
