Lindsey Danvers

Lindsey Danvers is one of the most respected musical theatre artistes in the U.K. She has played many leading roles in the West End including 'GRIZABELLA' in CATS, 'FANTINE' in LES MISERABLES, 'ANNA' in THE KING AND I, and 'JADE' in METROPOLIS. Born in York, she studied music and drama at the Italia Conti Stage School.

As a founder member of the all girl group 'TOTO-COELO' (recently featured on British TV as the original Spice Girls), she has had chart success worldwide. She has a long list of concerts and radio performances to her name, including 'FLO' in HALF A SIXPENCE and 'FRAULINE KOST' in Cabaret, 'QUEEN VASHTI' in ESTHER, 'DELA' in FATHERS HOUSE and 'ISOBEL BROWN' in BLUDE RED.

Becoming a Christian in 1988, Lindsey's main focus is to use her talents in spreading the Gospel and in worship. She is involved with the worship team at Cheam Community Church and with the charity, 'THE SAFE PLACE', which is providing homes for children from orphanages in Romania. Lindsey lives in West London with her husband Stan (sound engineer for the band).
