Mark Hartley

Mark Hartley is a professional trumpeter, composer, teacher, producer and director of his own company 'SPARK MEDIA'. He studied music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and composition at the National School of Film & Television.

Over the last 8 years Mark has experienced many different roles within the performing arts industry working as musician, composer, stage manager, production designer, production manager and producer. He has worked for 'THE ARTS COUNCIL' and was a company director of 'ARMSTRONG ARTS', until August 2001. Since then, he has had extensive experience of touring shows throughout the UK and London, and specialises in music and theatre as the founder and director of Jam Theatre.

As a Christian, Mark is passionate about using the performing arts for evangelism and is a founder member of 'THE STILL TIME BAND'. Mark is married to Jo (original lead vocalist of the band), they have 3 children and live near Maidenhead.
