the scenes, but my goal has always been to do my own music and be an
artist in my own right, he says. "I always try to infuse my music
and solo performances with an overriding sense of hope, and feel so
appreciative when someone in the audience is touched personally by a
song I wrote or sang. Having an emotional impact on peoples lives for
me defines the gift of music."
Bill also shares that,
"One of the joys of being such an integral part of Los Angeles
club and studio scene is having some of the greatest musicians around
help make your music!" Joining Bill on this CD are some

“Whenever I hear a song I really like, the ultimate
compliment I can give is, ‘I wish I had written it!’ This almost
never happens these days –that is, until last week when I heard
the new Bill Cantos album. Not once, but about a dozen times, Bill
has come up with songs I wish I had written. He's also a great
performer. Look out for Bill Cantos. These songs are built to
last.” - Johnny Mandel
